Virtual Currency & Purchases Terms

These terms apply to virtual coins/credits and any paid packs offered on theplayhubnz.com (the “Service”).
1) Definitions
Virtual Currency means any in-Service coins, credits, tokens, points, boosters, or similar digital items. Paid Content means any Virtual Currency or digital items you buy with real money.
2) Entertainment only; no cash value
- Virtual Currency is provided for entertainment purposes only.
- Virtual Currency has no monetary value, is not legal tender, and is not a stored value facility.
- You may not redeem, exchange, or “cash out” Virtual Currency for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any item of value outside the Service.
3) Non-transferable; no resale
- Virtual Currency is personal to your account, non-transferable, and may not be gifted, sold, traded, or sublicensed.
- We may suspend or disable access to Virtual Currency if we reasonably believe it was obtained via fraud, chargeback abuse, exploits, or unauthorised resale.
4) Purchases, pricing, and payment
- Where paid packs are offered, the price will be shown to you before you confirm payment, including any applicable taxes and fees.
- Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. In New Zealand, prices may include GST where stated.
- By completing a purchase, you authorise us (and our payment providers) to charge the selected payment method.
- If you are under 21, you must have permission from a parent/guardian to make purchases.
5) Delivery and balance
Paid Content is typically delivered immediately to your account. If delivery fails, contact us and we will investigate and, where appropriate, restore the Virtual Currency or correct your balance.
6) Refunds and chargebacks
- Except where required by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993), purchases of Paid Content are generally non-refundable once delivered.
- If you believe you were incorrectly charged or did not receive Paid Content, contact us promptly so we can resolve it.
- If a chargeback or payment reversal occurs, we may remove the related Virtual Currency and/or restrict account features until the issue is resolved.
7) Changes, expiry, and discontinuation
We may change, revalue, limit, or discontinue Virtual Currency or the Service at any time. To the extent permitted by law, Virtual Currency does not accrue interest and may expire or be removed if the Service closes or your account is terminated for breach of our terms.
